We are Julie and Simone Sherman.   We live in Brookline, next to Boston's colorful, funky Jamaica Plain section.  We are former longtime residents of Washington, DC.

Our canine and feline family members are Posie and, at left, Clyde.  Miss Brown, pictured at left, departed this life in 2011.

Simone is committed to animal care and works  at a vet clinic.  Together we run Neighborhood Dog Walking & Pet Sitting.  Please see that page to learn about the caring attention, companionship and exercise we can give your dog or cat when you are at work, traveling or just need some extra help.

Julie is a writer.  My work has been published in numerous publications over the years.  I am in the process of publishing my writing on this site.  Please see the Essays and Stories page for short stories about relationships, and essays about why Americans are fat, how to manage in hard economic times, and other subjects of possible interest.

The "JP Gallery" page is a collection of photos of beautiful murals that can be found on building walls all over Jamaica Plain.  Also just photos taken around JP.
